Event season is officially in full swing—and if you blink, you might miss something exciting

We’re coming off the energy of the Association of VA Surgeons (AVAS) Conference in Newport Beach, and that was just the beginning. The momentum is building, and the months ahead are packed with opportunities to connect, collaborate, and celebrate the communities we care about.
Next stop: Vets26 Conference in New Orleans (June 2–3). This one is especially meaningful for us because it brings together both our medical and office teams under one roof. When both sides of our organization show up together, great conversations happen—and even better partnerships begin. We’ll be showcasing the full scope of our robotics ecosystem and design & procurement services featuring our many furniture partners.
Just days later, we’ll be heading to NeoCon in Chicago (June 8–10), one of the most influential design events of the year. Our team is excited to explore the latest in workplace and healthcare design, bringing fresh ideas back to the spaces we help create.
But not everything on our calendar is business-focused—and that’s by design.
We’ll be slowing things down (just a little) for Sgt. Tommy’s Kids Annual Fishing Day at Herrick Lake in Wheaton, Illinois, a cause that means the world to us. This event honors our friend and fallen brother, Tommy Gilbert—the very person who inspired the founding of SDV back in 2016. It’s more than an event; it’s a reminder of why we do what we do.
In August, we’ll be back on the green for the NVSBC-EF Charity Golf Tournament (August 17). This year, we’re bringing four full foursomes, and yes—we’re already working on our swings. It’s always a great day supporting veteran-focused initiatives while connecting with others who share that mission.
Throughout the summer, our medical team will also be attending various VA Small Business Industry Days, so keep an eye out—we may be coming to a city near you.
Then comes fall—and one of the biggest moments of the year.
We’re incredibly proud to be sponsoring the Biltmore Championship FedEx Cup (September 17–20) in Asheville, NC. This is a historic occasion: the first PGA Tour event in Asheville since 1942. Being part of this milestone—and the region’s continued comeback following Hurricane Helene—means a lot to us. We’re looking forward to seeing the community show up strong and support local small businesses in a big way.
To round things out, our office and furniture design team will be heading to the Healthcare Design Expo (HCD) in New Orleans, a perennial favorite. It’s where innovation meets collaboration, and where we strengthen the partnerships that help us deliver better environments for those we serve.
From coast to coast, across industries and causes, this season is shaping up to be one of our most dynamic yet. Whether it’s advancing healthcare, supporting veterans, honoring legacy, or celebrating design—we’re all in.
Stay tuned. We’re just getting started.
