Final Buy Notice for da Vinci Xi® and da Vinci X® Single-Site Instruments and Accessories
Intuitive has announced that the final buy for all da Vinci Xi® and da Vinci X® Single-Site instruments and accessories was December 31, 2024. These items are no longer available after the last-time purchase date.
Background
Due to decreasing demand for Single-Site, attributed to the launch of the da Vinci SP surgical system in 2019, it has become increasingly difficult to manufacture da Vinci Single-Site instruments and accessories due to lower volumes and supplier constraints.
Suppliers continue to obsolete components, and technology discontinuations are limiting support capability for da Vinci Single-Site technology.
